The New Main Street
Lodi, New Jersey
The Lodi project is at the site of the famed Knapp Chemical Company explosion circa 1995 which brought both loss of life and massive environmental fallout all directly on the Saddle River. We signed a developer’s agreement and immediately purchased from the municipality a portion of the redevelopment site which we developed into a Valley National Bank center including a Subway Restaurant, an H&R Block Financial Services office and law offices on the second floor. In addition to cleaning up the site, negotiating with the DEP and purchasing other properties, there now stands a Shop-Rite Supermarket ready to service the needs of families in this once forgotten community.

This urban project included building a youth baseball complex for the municipality and blasting through bedrock to set the footings and foundation. The dedication to see this project through to completion was extraordinary and the finished project is a central part of the community.

Scott Printing Facility
Jersey City, New Jersey
The existing property included a one-hundred year old de-commissioned printing company building with old elevator shafts, three foot thick concrete walls and semi-functional mechanicals. After the property was purchased work commenced on both the interior and exterior renovations. The structure was converted into a modern, climate controlled self-storage facility which serves all the businesses and residential needs in the Journal Square city center. This redevelopment was written up in the NY Times as a significant catalyst to the center city redevelopment project.

Park Ferry
Port Monmouth, New Jersey
Sugarman's Plaza
Scranton, Pennsylvania
The 450,000 square foot building is home to iconic tenants including Tractor Supply and Kost Tire. Building sections were retrofitted to accommodate one of the early e-commerce operations providing rapid fulfillment for QVC and Stop + Shop Food Stores. The 55 acres of property allowed for the massive tractor trailer operations without impeding the commercial demand on that space. The property redevelopment and the subsequent redeployment of space were critical in attracting the eclectic tenant mix.
